My other passion:

I write original songs https://myspace.com/terrycherryband/music/songs

Sucarnoochee Sunset

My paintings are an eclectic mix of subjects that I have always enjoyed painting. These subjects are things and places around me. I feel that as a southerner I express a quality in my paintings that is uniquely of the south. If this makes me a regional artist, I don't mind; it is a good region to be an artist in. The subjects of my paintings are mostly rural landscapes, skies, trees, creeks, flowers and cows. I see these things every time I go out. After I look at them long enough, some of them find their way into my work. Watercolor, oil and acrylic are all media that I use in painting. I look for beauty in a subject that anyone can appreciate. EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS: Bonnie Busbee Gallery; Group Show. Meridian Community College; One Man Show. William Carey University; One Man Show.
